Layers: The main image is a cosmo bloom that had started to fade in the fall, which I photographed under water in 2023. The glow comes from an image of a gold-painted leaf decoration, part of a floral arrangement we had for our Holiday open house in 2025, sparkling in the warm glow of fairy lights. There are flakes of imitation gold applied to the finished piece, in between coats of varnish.
