This piece is an image of a gorgeous sunset-coloured zinnia that grew in our garden. Flowers are often admired and shown when they’re in their unblemished “prime”, but I loved seeing how much more interesting each bloom became as it aged and took on it’s own character. The colours in this particular flower are pure joy to me.
