This piece is an image of a gorgeous sunset-coloured zinnia that grew in our garden. Flowers are often admired and shown when they’re in their unblemished “prime”, but I loved seeing how much more interesting each bloom became as it aged and took on it’s own character. The colours in this particular flower are pure joy to me.

Panel painted purply-blue, with subtle iridescence. UV artist varnish applied, ready to hang.
