Guided Meditations

I’m including 3 simple guided meditations to help focus the intent for this mini-retreat. If you’ve never meditated before, give it a try! It’s as easy as finding a comfortable place to sit, and listening to the recording. Closed captioning is also available for those who need it.

If you already have a regular meditation practice, you may still want to include these three over the course of the mini-retreat as a means to direct your attention somewhere specific.

If you’d like to continue using guided meditations after this retreat, there are many apps available. I like “Unplug”, which has a wide variety of people leading the meditations, as well as being searchable by topic, teacher, or length of time. Another one I’ve heard good things about is “10% Happier”.

Neuroscience research has shown that meditation physically changes your brain, and my own personal experience is that it’s a fantastic tool to shift you perception, and in turn shift your reality. This is powerful stuff, and you can do it!
