It's been a busy winter for us - here are the highlights of what we've been up to and the exciting things coming up soon..

First of all, after many months of working with our awesome designer Dave from Toy Rabbits Design, we were thrilled to launch our new brand and website last week :) If you haven't seen it yet, take a moment to indulge yourself and enjoy all the pretty, happy, and love to be found there!

February is going to be a huge month for new adventures - starting this week, my work will be in a new gallery in my favourite neighbourhood! Art Yard is a fantastic space full of a variety of different artists - stop by and check it out if you're in the Parkdale area! I'll also be participating in The Artist Project Toronto February 20-23 at the Better Living Centre in the CNE grounds. For more of the story, check out my blog post about it here. I'm currently hard at work finishing off some new pieces that I'm really excited about :) Here's a sneak peek:

Not long after the show wraps up, I'll be headed off to Panama with my cinematographer Emily to photograph a wedding there - we can't wait for our first week-long wedding shoot! We'll be sure to post images when we get back, and of course the video teaser once it's ready :)

We're also working on about half a dozen other engagement, wedding, and commercial films in production right now, and I'm designing and finishing off a handful of newborn and wedding albums. I can't wait to see the finished products for all of these, and especially to share them with our awesome clients! The two most unusual albums that I'm working on right now are one from a shoot that was basically a portrait session of a family home with tons of character, and also an album for a wedding that I photographed 7 years ago. This seems to be the year of "finally" doing albums that have been put off - I've also had orders for 3 others recently from weddings 2-6 years ago, and I can tell that couples just love finally being able to hold those memories in their hands :)

And just a heads-up that we're going to be having a special portrait offer running in time for Mother's Day - so stay tuned for details!

Other than that, not much is new around here ;)
